Purchasing Executive

- Daily price update from suppliers/collectors/farmers on products assigned
- Prepare supplier contracts and receive signed copies from suppliers in due time
- Communicating and contacting with suppliers on delivery schedule
- Analyze, coordinate, monitor and control the inward material procured (against the actual output); timely update and report the progress to the manager
- Market surveys on crop situation and other updates from farm gate for each product on a frequent or ad hoc basis including before season starts and any developing news during the season
- Trend analysis (week by week, month on month)
- Maintaining supplier relationship and developing new suppliers for all products
- Developing new models of purchasing via backward integration (buying from farmers, small collectors)
- Identifying new products to be added to our current product portfolio (not limited to Dried fruits , Vegetables , Coconut /agricultural)
- Maintain a supplier database for all products
Weekly purchasing review for each product from all origins- Maintain reports for all products contracted with suppliers (price, quantity, quality, supplier)
- Coordinating with 3rd party inspection companies in making prior work order for inspection for shipment
- Coordinating with forwarders and logistic team for selected shipments
- Willing to undertake more projects in the future but not limited to sourcing (expansion project / new product development / others assigned by the management)
- Other tasks assigned by the Director/Operations Head

- Preferably with experience in purchasing dried fruit
- English required
- 2 years experience in similar position
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software applications.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with suppliers, forwarders, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast- paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
