Supplier management & compliance

Professionally manage the search, evaluation and supplier selection process for all goods and services within established parameters for quality, price and delivery

Conduct an annual spending profile while creating strategic alliances when and where possible to improve the supply chain

Establish formal commodity planning and index the cost drivers for commodities where possible

Establish purchasing compliance programs for all clients driven international standards such a Lacey, CARB, CPSC, lead regulations, etc

Ensure all Purchasing activities are conducted in strict accordance with RS business principles.

Efficiency improvement

Maintain purchasing processes and procedures to prevent corruption and the opportunity for corruption

Develop a culture of continuous improvement and strive to enhance or improve product margins through strategic sourcing and effective purchasing practices

Develop people and hold them accountable

Maintain and actively manage obsolescence while recycling old materials. Actively partner with production, warehousing, technical and accounting to minimize material obsolescence.

English level: Intermediate
Strong sourcing, purchasing skills in furniture.
