Purchasing Supervisor (Direct Packaging)

Report directly to the Procurement Manager

Contribute to project cost savings
May lead a team.
Support the indirect team as needed.
Organize biddings/tenders
Negotiate and follow- up on improvements to the credit term, including increasing the day of payable to suppliers and other privileges.
Direct involvement in Global/ regional negotiations
Be responsible for the procurement of all direct flexible packaging material: film, ink, foil, paper, solvents, zipper, spout, paraffin wax, packing materials, etc.
Manage and develop suppliers; actively support the improvement of the service performance of suppliers.
To execute all supporting activities of job requirements toward “safely producing the high- quality products and complying with legal requirements.”

5- 10 years in similar positions at MNC Companies
BA graduation
Communicating with impact
Experience in Indirect sourcing would be an asset
Proven success record
Possible coming from the same industry / direct competitors
Experience in raw materials of flexible packaging– Resins, Films, Inks/Adhesives, Paper.. is a must
Drive for result
Strong analytical skill
Advanced in English both speaking and writing
Experienced in project management
