Python Backend Developer

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, primarily focusing on frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.Build scalable, efficient, and robust RESTful APIs for various platforms and applications.Collaborate closely with frontend developers, project managers, and other teams to ensure high- quality code and deliverables.Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, following best practices and coding standards.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing systems and processes.Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of backend systems.Keep up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Python development and backend technologies.

Qualifications

Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
Familiarity with database management systems like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Strong problem- solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
Strong experience working with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, unittest).
3+ years of hands- on experience in backend development with Python, using frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
In- depth knowledge of object- oriented programming and design patterns.
Ability to work in an agile development environment and collaborate with cross- functional teams.

Preferred Skills

Experience working with Internet of Things (IoT) systems, including the integration and management of IoT devices and sensors.
Ability to design and implement backend services that support IoT ecosystems, ensuring scalability, security, and real- time data handling.
Experience in handling large- scale data generated by IoT devices and building systems for efficient data storage, processing, and visualization.
Familiarity with IoT protocols and communication technologies such as MQTT or CoAP.
