Python Backend Engineer

Work remotely in VietnamWe are building the next- generation AI customer service system, combining large language models (LLMs), knowledge graphs, and vector search to deliver smarter and more efficient customer support.As a Python Backend Engineer, you will:• Develop and optimize backend APIs using FastAPI• Build intelligent data logic with Pydantic AI / Pydantic Graph• Integrate and fine- tune Qdrant (or other vector databases) for semantic search• Collaborate with AI and product teams to design scalable backend services• Contribute to system architecture discussions with focus on performance, stability, and security• Ensure backend services can support enterprise- grade workloads with high availability• Continuously optimize code quality, maintainability, and development workflows• Work in a flexible setup – remote or on- site

Requirements
• Familiarity with Pydantic (knowledge of Pydantic AI / Graph is a plus)
• Hands- on experience with FastAPI
• Good problem- solving skills, adaptability, and eagerness to learn
• Experience with vector databases (Qdrant, Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.)
• Strong understanding of clean coding practices and software design principles
• Proficient in Python with solid backend development experience
Preferred / Nice- to- Have:
• Experience with LLM applications or semantic search systems
• Exposure to system architecture or distributed system design
• Familiarity with Docker / Kubernetes / cloud- native deployment
