JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Senior Python Developer at SotaTek, you will play a key role in developing our innovative no- code solution that redefines how engineers interact with CAD, FE, CFD, and test data. You will build sophisticated data processing pipelines, transformation tools, and visualization systems that help engineers extract value from multi- source engineering data. This position requires strong Python programming skills with a focus on data engineering and software development for technical applications.
Implement advanced features for the platform including time series analysis, 3D data visualization, and statistical tools
Create interactive data visualization solutions and dashboards for complex engineering data analysis
Develop data extraction, cleansing, and preparation modules for engineering simulations and test results
Develop RESTful APIs for system integration within the platform ecosystem
Design and implement robust data processing and transformation pipelines for engineering data from multiple sources (CAD, FE, CFD, test data)
Build integration systems with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and CAE tools to streamline data flow
Collaborate with engineers and product managers to translate technical requirements into functional solutions
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
About Qualifications:
Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field; Master&039;s degree preferred
Demonstrated experience developing data processing systems in production environments
5+ years of relevant experience in Python development with focus on data systems and engineering applications
Strong portfolio of data engineering projects
About Technical Skills:
Must have:
Proficiency in API development using frameworks like Flask or FastAPI
Solid understanding of software development practices including version control (Git), testing, and CI/CD
Experience with data visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Plotly, Dash) and dashboard creation
5+ years of experience with Python development, including advanced knowledge of Python libraries for data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy)
Strong expertise in data processing, transformation, and ETL pipeline development
Database design and management skills (SQL and NoSQL)
Nice to have:
Experience working with engineering data formats and/or CAE/CFD tools
Knowledge of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) or finite element analysis (FEA) principles
Experience with 3D data processing and visualization
Background in UI/UX development for technical applications
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies
Familiarity with large dataset handling and optimization techniques
Familiarity with Jupyter notebooks for prototyping and experimentation
Experience with time series analysis and processing
