QA Engineer Automation

Position Overview
As a QA Engineer (Automation), you will play a key role in enhancing the quality and reliability of our digital healthcare applications through robust test automation. With at least 5 years of experience, you are expected to independently design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks while working closely with cross- functional teams to support continuous delivery and ensure high product standards.
Key Responsibilities

Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly and efficiently.
Utilize testing and story management tools such as Jira and BrowserStack for tracking, documentation, and reporting.
Develop automation scripts using languages such as JavaScript or Java.
Work with API/unit testing frameworks and performance testing tools like K6 or Locust (preferred).
Perform functional, non- functional, and regression testing across web and mobile platforms.
Conduct API testing using modern tools and frameworks, ensuring both functionality and performance.
Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Selenium and Appium.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA to understand feature requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
Drive continuous improvement in test processes, coverage, and automation efficiency.
Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and innovation across engineering teams.
Write, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for both frontend and backend components.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to quality- focused development cycles.

Familiarity with functional and non- functional testing principles.
Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
Demonstrated responsibility, result- orientation, and attention to detail.
Experience in writing manual test cases and converting them into automated scripts.
Proficient in Selenium and Appium for UI and mobile automation testing.
Minimum 5 years of hands- on experience in automation testing.
Familiar with story/test management tools such as Jira and BrowserStack.
Strong logical, analytical, and structural thinking skills.
Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript or Java.
Ability to work independently or with limited supervision.
Team player with a focus on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Knowledge of API performance testing tools such as K6 or Locust is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Working knowledge of at least one API/unit testing framework.
