Job Description:
At Aperia Solutions, our success is driven by the innovation and dedication of our talented engineering team. We are seeking a QA Engineer with a strong background in automation—particularly with JMeter—to help us ensure the highest level of quality across our product suite. This role will focus on developing robust testing strategies, automating functional tests, and collaborating closely with cross- functional teams to uphold our commitment to secure and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and translate user stories and business requirements into detailed test scenarios and scripts.
Ensure thorough test coverage while balancing time constraints and business priorities.
Utilize and help refine Aperia’s test frameworks for Functional Automation, Security, and Penetration Testing.
Collaborate with cross- functional teams including Product, DevOps, and Security to embed quality into our development lifecycle.
Lead the testing effort within agile teams; collaborate on design and code reviews to ensure testability.
Develop and optimize automated scripts, primarily using JMeter, to support a CI/CD pipeline.
Select, recommend, and support tools such as Postman, database testing, and log analysis tools (e.g., Splunk) for end- to- end validation.
Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases across functional and integration testing.
Mentor junior QA engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Execute manual and automated testing, including regression, functional, UI, and API testing.
Functional Responsibilities:
Communicate effectively through Teams, SharePoint, GitHub, and other collaborative platforms.
Conduct and lead regression testing based on impact analysis.
Communicate findings clearly and proactively to relevant stakeholders.
Actively engage with Scrum teams to resolve product issues quickly and effectively.
Promote adherence to Agile, Scrum, TDD, BDD, and other best practices in software development and testing.
Manage priorities and multitask across multiple projects while maintaining high attention to detail.
Contribute to an inclusive and high- performance team culture that values transparency, ownership, and accountability.
