The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager oversees the entire Quality for Evolution&039;s denim production internally as well as with subcon sewing and washing fecilities , ensuring each product meets high standards from raw material inspection to final evaluation. This involves building up/ implementing/ developing quality procedures, addressing quality issues, and investigating defects, in sewing & washing processes. The QA Manager will collaborate with production teams or other teams related to and manage QA and QC personnel and wash technicians.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
End- to- End Quality Oversight:
Identify and address quality issues promptly. Investigate the root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Responsible for managing QC personnel and wash technician
Oversee and manage the entire quality control process from from raw material inspection to finished product evaluation..
Develop and implement quality standards and procedures for all stages of denim production.
Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and prevent future issues.
Investigate and address issues related to washing, such as uneven color distribution, excessive fading, or other defects that may arise during the washing process.
Process Development:
Design and establish effective quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Work collaboratively with internal teams and subcontractors to integrate quality measures seamlessly into production workflows.
Training and Development:
Provide training to internal teams and subcontractors on quality control processes and standards.
Foster a culture of quality consciousness and continuous improvement.
Audits and Inspections:
Conduct regular audits of internal operations and subcontractors to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Perform inspections at key production stages to identify and address potential issues.
Documentation and Reporting:
Generate regular reports on quality metrics and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality control processes and procedures.
Collaboration with Subcontractors:
Establish strong working relationships with subcontractors, offering support in implementing and maintaining quality control measures.
Collaborate on resolving quality issues and improving processes.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive a culture of continuous improvement by actively seeking feedback and implementing lessons learned from quality issues.
