QA Manager - Japan Relocation

Recruit top QA engineering talent, and manage and support their growth effectively.
Monitor and review incidents, develop improvement plans to prevent recurrence, and ensure their implementation within the organization.
Participate in the product development team as a QA leader, managing all aspects of product development and fostering team cohesion. Be responsible for the product quality.
Define development strategy for the QA team, then execute and control the actual team performance.
Collaborate with the other teams to refine QA processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to best practices.
Conduct employee performance evaluations, from goal setting to final assessments.
Manage a team of 10+ with a focus on skill development and performance enhancement.

Required Skills

Proven people management skills: team building, employee satisfaction, career development, and mentoring
Experience in managing a QA engineering team of 5+ members including different testing specialties from Manual testing, Automation testing, SDET, Performance testing, and Security testing.
3+ years experience in managing the QA team.
Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of QA engineer’s experience.
Excellent communication skills for working with diverse people across language barriers.
Familiar with Agile methodologies like Scrum, Kanban, Scrum of Scrum, and its best practices

Efficient collaboration with Japanese stakeholders (team members, business- side personnel, etc.) for various aspects.
Professional working proficiency in English. (It’s equivalent to a TOEIC score of 700 or equivalent or higher). The interviews will be conducted fully in English.

Fintech Accounting Domain Application Expertise: Experience in managing or developing Fintech Accounting applications to solve business- related matters and technology challenges.
Relocating to Japan for the first year is a must.
Cross- locations development team where sub- teams are located in different countries.
Japanese proficiency is a plus to understanding business requirements and customer voices.
