MISSION:
The QA Manager oversees the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization&039;s products and development processes.
Essential Functions:
Planning and growth: You have the ownership of formulating and implementing testing methods/strategies to increase productivity.
Build a high- value team: You assist in the recruiting process where you train, motivate, and coach employees to ensure that standards are met.
Connect departments: You monitor cross- team activity and identify bottlenecks to ensure that all features work in alignment with each other.
Determine proper metrics: You prepare documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends at the company, including failed prophecies, stability studies, recalls, and corrective actions taken.
Set up quality standards: You help develop and maintain a company&039;s quality standards and design, implement, and improve a company&039;s current quality standards.
