The purpose of this role is to carry out the assigned duties, which include but no limit to:
- Patrol to ensure Painting standards are met;
- Co- operate with the relevant production departments to take pre- inspections and report issues properly;
- Report to the Quality Manager all issues related to the assigned project.
- Maintain all records of inspection;
- Inspect the incoming goods and materials to ensure that the painting materials used for the project meet the requirements and the expiry date is within the Self- life cycle;
- Work with the Classification Society and ship Owner to get recommendations to take corrective actions immediately;
- Collect all information to make daily Request for Inspection (RFI), and get all inspection reports properly;
- Organize quality meetings if necessary;
- Inspect surface preparations and painting work in compliance with the approved inspection, test plan, and quality requirements per building and Paint specification;
