What the role involves:
The QA/QC Leader
handles supervising the operations of the QA/QC department and its personnel. Their role involves the creation, application, and maintenance of a quality and reliability testing system for the organization’s products and developmental procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinating Departments: monitor activity across teams and identify bottlenecks to ensure that all features work in harmony with each other.
Planning and Development: formulate and implement testing methods/strategies to enhance productivity.
Establishing Quality Standards: handle developing and maintaining the company’s quality standards. Design, implement, and improve the company’s current quality standards.
Team Building: play a vital role in the recruitment process. train, motivate, and coach employees to ensure that standards are met.
Determining Metrics: prepare documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends within the company. This includes failed processes, stability studies, recalls, and corrective actions.
