Entering the Vietnam market from 2023, Smilegate Vietnam&039;s mission is to provide stable development & operation of the Smilegate platform and services, expanding beyond the development center to the region and expanding into an Asian hub.
What the role involves:
The QA/QC Leader
handles supervising the operations of the QA/QC department and its personnel. Their role involves the creation, application, and maintenance of a quality and reliability testing system for the organization’s products and developmental procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinating Departments: monitor activity across teams and identify bottlenecks to ensure that all features work in harmony with each other.
Planning and Development: formulate and implement testing methods/strategies to enhance productivity.
Establishing Quality Standards: handle developing and maintaining the company’s quality standards. Design, implement, and improve the company’s current quality standards.
Team Building: play a vital role in the recruitment process. train, motivate, and coach employees to ensure that standards are met.
Determining Metrics: prepare documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends within the company. This includes failed processes, stability studies, recalls, and corrective actions.

Requirements:

Adept problem- solver with meticulous attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience in developing and executing test strategies.
More than 12 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in a QA Manager or Leader role.
Ability to understand and analyze software life cycles to improve and apply processes.
Experience in automation testing is a plus.
Deep understanding of quality assurance methodologies and standards.
Proficient in simplifying complex concepts.
Has experience leading a team of at least 10 members.
At least bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering or has equivalent practical experience.
Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
Fluent in business English
Experience with large- scale systems or platforms.

Nice to have:

Proficiency in the Korean language is a plus.
