QA/QC Tester (Linux Embedded System)

Participate in design reviews and provide input on testability and quality aspects.
Identify, isolate, and document software defects and issues.
Collaborate closely with software developers and hardware engineers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded Linux systems.
Perform functional, regression, performance, security testing... on embedded devices.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
Work with cross- functional teams to define and implement testing strategies and best practices.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
3 years of experience in embedded Linux testing or a similar role.
Experience in analyzing project requirements, identifying testing requirements, and creating detailed test cases and scenarios to ensure thorough test coverage.
Solid understanding of different types of testing, including but not limited to unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, stress testing, security testing, and user acceptance testing.
Willingness to stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in embedded systems testing and quality assurance.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Understanding of embedded systems architecture (including hardware components, peripherals, and system- on- chip (SoC) platforms) and principles.
Ability to work effectively in a fast- paced, dynamic environment.
Proven ability to develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for embedded Linux systems, including defining test objectives, scope, methodology, and timelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with JIRA system
Experience with Linux shell scripting.
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Travis CI).
Graduated from Post and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT).
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
Experience with embedded development tools and environments.
Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies.
