QA/QC Field Erection Tank Inspector

- To undertake verification, inspection of fabrication/erection for LARGE DIAMETER API 650 Tank. (Material : Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminum)

- Well understanding and carryout quality control inspection via welding procedure, able to check based on ITP and welding maps and record all inspection data.

- Arranging NDE inspection and prepare for NDE in accordance with project requirements.

- Well understanding fabrication/erection tolerance and able to check based on API 650.

- To perform the quality control activities while installation and pre-commissioning for Field Erection Tank.

- Coordinate work with the project staffs to compile and maintain pertinent records of inspection and testing until the end of the contract and all pertinent records for retention on completion of the project.

- Forecast to inspection requirements and available resources prior to start the inspection activities.

Ensure that Non-conformance report (NCR) are raised once the activities deviated from the Contract Specifications or Vietnam construction industry practices.

-       Minimum 4 years of experience for Tank Erection Inspector in construction of Power, Oil & Refinery and Chemical plant or Vendor Shop QC Inspector (Vessels, Columns, H/EX, etc.).

-       Male, Bachelor’s degree in relevant Mechanical engineering major.

-       Knowledge of equipment engineering in of Power, Oil & Refinery and Chemical plant industrial.

-       Knowledge of international codes for equipment design, reference practice, material and fabrication such as API, ASME, ASTM, etc.

-       Knowledge of measuring and test equipment for inspection in construction.

-       Knowledge of Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2008 or 2015)

-       Knowledge of NDE.

-       Knowledge of Painting.

-       Good English communication skills including speaking, listening and writing (Candidates will be interviewed in English).

-       Can read/write technical drawings, documents and e-mail in English

-       Can talk/discuss to foreign manager in English.

-       Microsoft office software Skills (Excel, Word, Power Point).

-       High self-confident, self-motivated, enthusiasm, diligent in working mindset.

-       Certified Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1, CWI 3.1, etc.)

Construction Supervisor Certification – Grade 1 (ESSENTIAL).
