QC Engineer

Supplier evaluation, monitoring, develop and build up level of quality
Control quality of Incoming material, measurement, storage, monitoring quality trend and take improvement action (quality issue, cost down…)
Qualified and certified operator skill for inspection and sorting activities
Monitor all quality activities related to Outgoing processes:
Evaluate products to provide performance data necessary for achievement of quality objectives and improvement opportunities
Quality Data control: Monitor measure and analyze processes within Thermtrol (VSIP).
Control/monitor scrap rate and scrap cost according to our TVN’s target and report to QC Manager /QC Supervisor periodically
Report and monitoring the quality objectives. Suggest and implement actions necessary to achieve planned quality objectives.
Training and Development – establishes and maintains a comprehensive training program to ensure that all Quality Controllers and relevant members of Thermtrol (VSIP) receive adequate training and reach the competence level required for their individual roles.
Plan and perform as plan for Calibration/Verification of all measuring equipments and tools/jigs. Ensure the availability of measuring, monitoring devices, tools/jigs and information necessary to support the quality operation.
Upper of the above responsibilities, the QC Engineer is responsible for daily auditing and verifying the performance of the QC and processes to make sure everything compliance with the quality system.
Ensure the quality records are recorded correctly and sufficiently, are collated and integrated into the company information system in such a way that the “Objective Evidence” requirements of the relevant quality standard are met.
Investigating/ Analyzing and solving customer complaints on product performance. Complete the report, verify the actions taken and follow up the effectiveness.
Verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions taken as a result of non-conformances. Periodically report the status of all corrective and preventive actions taken.
Monitor Production jigs certification & measuring equipment calibration activities.
Generate the Discrepancy Report/Nonconformance report. Segregate and identify the affected location, products. Coordinate with the relevant persons to analyze and take the corrective action. Submit the reports to QC manager.
Other special task related quality function assigned by QC Manager.
Determine criteria and methods needed to ensure that both operation and control of processes within Thermtrol (VSIP) are effective and meet customer requirements…
Assist to QC Manager/QC Supervisor to deal with external assessment bodies, customers and suppliers on Quality Management System matters.

Education:

University Degree in a relevant discipline.

Skills:

Fluent in Vietnam and English, written & spoken.

Able to work independently as well as a part of company teams and hard working
Training:

Knowledge in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 system
Able to work independently as well as a part of company teams and hard working.
Computer capability minimum MS Office
Knowledge about MSA, 7 QC tools, 5 core tools
Strong leadership and good interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively at all levels.

At least 1 year experience in handling and organizing the QSM
