Position Summary:
As a QC Supervisor at our Pistachio Factory, you&039;ll ensure product quality from raw materials to finished goods. You&039;ll implement and maintain our Quality Food Safety system throughout production. This role is crucial to our Quality department.
Specific Functions, Additional duties will include but not be limited to the following:
Be the voice of the consumer in the production lines and coach teams to lead and live consumer inspired quality.
Implement a Food Safety culture and continuous improvement across the organization
Perform other duties as assigned by Superior.
Audit and review plant Quality records to ensure compliance and provide coaching to colleagues completing & archiving records.
Influence and partner with cross functional peers, effectively communicating how Food Safety supports our company values
Act as a member of the Section team taking ownership for QFS elements where required. Provide the link between the Section team and the Quality function, understanding and aligning the agenda and balancing priorities.
Support effective management of operational Food Safety challenges (CCPs) at factory including disposition decision making based on risk assessment and advice on risk management interactions with authorities.
Escalate any findings to the relevant Quality Team member(s) as directed by the Plant Quality Manager.
Support Quality training, education, and coaching about the quality product, QMS implementation.
Quality control for raw material, semi- finished goods, finished goods during production process, stock or in other areas
Raise GMP standards and ensure compliance to the relevant GMP requirements through daily coaching of operational teams, GMP Audits and Internal Audits.
Actively manage and support any day- to- day non- Conforming products via the Hold and Release process.
Create, support and/or approve the maintenance of SOP’s, work instructions & methodologies linked to any quality criteria and specifications.

Reduce Quality loss. (Internal NC’s, Customer complaints etc.)
Root cause and implementation of preventive action.
Quality continuous improvement projects implemented.
Robust quality system implementation and maintenance.
