Position: Quality Auditor
Overall job objectives:
• We are the world&039;s leading designer, developer, manufacturer, and marketer of Ice Hockey and Lacrosse equipment. The candidate will be reporting to the Quality team in Canada, under collaboration and guidance of our Quality team in Asia.
• The Quality auditor needs to interact with the vendors’ quality, production, and development teams to ensure that the materials, finished products and processes in place meet our specifications and quality requirements.
• Create a positive and effective work dynamic with our vendors and internal teams, becoming a facilitator who moves forward the implementation of quality, improvement, and industrialization projects.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain quality trackers and periodic reports up to date.
• Ensure that the documentation and reports needed for compliance of certified products is available, properly filed and maintained.
• Prepare and support external certification audits.
• Report non- conformance issues in a timely manner, support and follow up the root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions and material disposition.
• Participate in the training and qualification of quality inspectors and auditors of the factories.
• Perform periodic product and process audits, as well as in- process, finished goods and post- pack inspections of our products, to ensure compliance to specifications.
• Validate the deployment of approved Engineering Changes, and report unapproved changes to material, process, or products.
• Oversee and support the implementation of new quality lab tests.
• Support our internal RD&D and Quality teams to inspect, report and/or approve samples.
• Support the creation and deployment of the quality control plan and industrialization of new products and processes.
• Perform other quality related activities as required.
• Coordinate and effectively lead periodic quality meetings with the vendors’ quality and production teams.
• Identify defects or issues not currently documented that may impact the quality or performance of the product.

Qualifications required:
• Available to occasional travel for local or overseas factory audits.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in Vietnamese and English; communication skills in Mandarin are an asset.
• Knowledge on one or more of these areas is an asset: industrialization, composites material & processes, cut & sew, injection, lab testing (abrasion, tensile, elongation, colorfastness, aging, QUV, etc.)
• Education and/or proven experience in manufacturing, quality, or engineering areas.
• Strong auditing and inspecting skills and experience.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools (Outlook & Excel)
• Effective communication skills within a multicultural team (active listening, summarize & take notes, etc.)
• Ability to work independently with objective- oriented focus.
• Ability to understand and use quality & continuous improvement tools, like inspection check lists, quality criteria, sampling plan, root cause analysis, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem- solving skills; statistics knowledge is an asset.
