Quality Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the Quality Assurance & Control activities ( System Audit, Process Audit, Product Audit) from concept through launch and the customer ownership experience.


• Ensure that the company develops and delivers products that the public wants to purchase and own.


• Develop and implement company Quality Assurance Strategy and System and Quality Assurance processes and procedures.


• Select, develop and train the Quality Assurance Team Members to effectively execute the quality assurance, quality systems and processes to achieve both internal and external quality goals


• Establish people development as a core value to develop future leaders to achieve sustainable, continuous improvement.


• Develop and implement an effective and efficient problem-solving system and process to help ensure a culture of rapid resolution of issues – fix or escalate.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years' experience in automotive industry


• Automotive industry knowledge or automotive mechanical knowledge is essential


• Demonstrated successful leadership of direct organizations and teams


• Good common sense business insight and experience with the development and implementation of business strategies


• Strong ability to grasp and effectively use technical concepts and technical information


• Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal skills.


• Expertise and experience in developing and implementing successful Quality Strategies, Systems, Processes and Procedures in the Product Development Quality area of the business


• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)


• Fluent in English (both verbal & written)


• Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or field related to the products being developed required.


• Experience in battery pack or cell manufacturing or engineering functions, including demonstrated experience and capability in any of the following areas:


• Lean Manufacturing


• Manufacturing Automotive Quality Skill Sets


• Desing Engineering


• Manufacturing, Process and or Tool Engineering experience


• Continuous Improvement projects
