Since 2007, Molex Vietnam has operated its first factory in Thang Long I IP. We are now expanding with a new high- tech facility in Thang Long II IP, Hung Yen, backed by a $145 million investment and spanning 100,000 m2. This site will manufacture advanced products including high- speed connectors, cables, and optical devices.

Production Engineer – Connector ManufacturingLocation: Thang Long I Industrial Park, Hanoi / Thang Long II Industrial Park, Hung Yen (Daily Bus from Hanoi Center)

Who we are

Monitor shift changes, report abnormalities, and collaborate with Production Control and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve issues.
Create and validate work instructions to ensure process consistency and compliance.
Analyze returned goods and Quality Notifications (QN), implement corrective actions, and ensure follow- through in shift operations.
Receive hands- on training at our flagship factory in Thang Long I IP and/or participate in overseas training to become a master in connector manufacturing.
Qualify machine performance from NPI to MP phases based on Molex specifications.
Drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) and zero- defect initiatives.
Manage production plan changes, line rotations, and downtime due to process issues or material concerns.
Support the Production Manager in overseeing daily shift operations, including product quality, machine performance, productivity, and material flow.
Prepare and submit weekly and monthly quality reports.

Knowledge of machine operation is an advantage
Solid understanding of Mass Production (MP) processes
Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing (preferably electronics, SMT, or related industries)
Strong problem- solving skills using statistical methods (CPK, Box Plot, etc.)
Basic English communication skills
Experience with measurement instruments (OMM projectors, force checkers, soldering tools, etc.)
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, JMP, etc.)
