- Technical inputs and advice for communication tools of new products/ solutions
- Prepare product standard, hazard analysis, MSDS for new products
- Identify lead formulations, raw material specification, check raw material for technical datasheet
- Check impact on Health, Safety & Environment of raw materials
- Evaluate product usage, assess field trials (site)
- Products and system expertise – gypsum, metal, cement boards…
- Understand and propose what level of testing resource needed or substantiate data from trial material
- Lead the R&D team to analyze the technical feasibility of new product to manufacture/purchase, including new product development, current product modification and roll out product
Construction Field Know-how
- In-depth knowledge of construction regulation, building regulation, products and building systems.
- Thorough knowledge of building physics with the ability to read and translate drawings
- Full knowledge of the building cycle and all actors.
System & Product Know-How
- Produce and maintain formatted specification templates to provide bespoke documentation that meets or exceed the needs of the local market
- Deep understanding of competitor solutions for drywall and traditional, their strengths, weaknesses and the alternative Gyproc solution
- Detailed knowledge of all relevant local and international standards (product manufacture, system testing, assessment and installation)
- In-depth understanding about drywall acoustic and fire system testing procedure aligned to local and international standards
Specification Know-how
- In depth knowledge of advanced technical detailing (maximum heights, deflection, junction details)
- Provision of comprehensive branded professional Project Packs to include specification, drawings, system brochures and test data
- Create and write bespoke and highly detailed performance specifications to meet standards or requirements
