R&D Specialist - Flavor/ Fragrances

Job summary:
Responsible for overall analysis and test evaluation work for business areas and support and service sale staff in recommending the most suitable fragrance to customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Keeps himself/herself up-to-date knowledge of Organic & Inorganic Chemistry and acquires technical know-how relating to fragrance trend.
2. Conducts overall analysis and laboratory work.
3. Keeps laboratory in good shape at all times and utilizes equipment and materials effectively.
4. Together with Sales staff to promote new sales project/ application related to fragrances and follow until project ends.
5. Sets up and organizes effective reporting and documentation related to his/ her in charge products.
6. Assists sales staff in recommending the most suitable fragrance to customers.
7. Supports sales staff in the introduction of new fragrance trend and services including product testing and approval and maintains contact potential customers.
8. Keeps maximum efforts to maintain Safety Factors and notifies anyone entering the laboratory to observe the Safety Rules.
9. Makes customer visits and coordinates technical output with sales staff.

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemicals and/or Master’s Degree would be an advantage
- 2-3 years in R&D of fragrances, perfumes, cosmetics and home personal care products
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Good ability to identify different fragrance & scent
- Good passion to work in fragrance industry
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Enthusiastic and service minded
- Ability to operate laptop/ desktop
