We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and energetic Recreation Manager to lead our activities and wellness team. The Recreation Manager is responsible for designing, managing, and delivering an exceptional range of recreational programs and experiences for guests of all ages. Your primary goal is to enhance guest satisfaction and create lasting memories by providing innovative, safe, and engaging activities that align with our 5- star brand standards.
TASKS CLARIFYING
Program Development & Management
Oversee all recreational facilities, including the fitness center, swimming pools, tennis courts, and beach activities, ensuring they are well- maintained, clean, and operated to the highest safety standards.
Lead the Kids&039; Club program, creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for our younger guests with age- appropriate activities.
Design and implement a diverse and exciting weekly and monthly schedule of recreational activities, including water sports, fitness classes aqua aerobics), cultural workshops....
Develop and launch unique signature experiences that set our resort apart and generate positive guest feedback.
Team Leadership & Development
Foster a positive and high- performing team culture focused on proactive guest service and engagement.
Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule the entire recreation team, fitness instructors, Kids&039; Club attendants, and activity coordinators.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching to ensure team members meet and exceed guest expectations.
Guest Engagement & Satisfaction
Ensure the highest level of safety is maintained in all activities and facilities, with a particular focus on pool and beach safety protocols.
Handle any guest concerns or complaints related to recreational activities with professionalism and efficiency.
Act as the primary ambassador for all resort activities, actively engaging with guests, promoting the recreation schedule, and gathering feedback.
Financial & Operational Management
Develop strategies to drive ancillary revenue through paid activities, skill classes...
Ensure compliance with all company policies and local health and safety regulations.
Control and maintain inventory of all recreational equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
Perform other tasks requested by the General Manager/Director of Operations.
Participating training courses and meetings as demanded.
Creates 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Yes I Can! Experience through performance that demonstrates the standards of genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.
