* OPERATIONAL
- Perform any other duty/duties that may be assigned to him/her by his/ her department head;
- Assist in any set up of any function, event organized by any department requiring assistance;
- Participate in development programs provided by the company;
- Check and monitor that all outlet set- up is in accordance to hotel standards;
- Complete task that have been outlined from superior;
- Always follow up on all equipment that has been sent for repairs and report to superior any delays caused by the second party;
- Ensure department operation when HOD absent
- Coordinate with the different departmental heads on joint activities programs and assist other departments when required;
- Ensure that all tasks and duties performed by his/her staff are carried out in according to the standards set by the department head;
- Control the expenditure of material within the department and its sections;
- Ensure that all towels are regularly sent to Laundry for cleaning and sufficient stocks are at hand;
- Ensure the established programs are followed and supervised successfully;
- Cooperate and participate in all social and cultural activities and events when requested by Management;
- Ensure all equipments are in good working condition, report any defected to superior, initiate maintenance and repair request
- Ensure all staff requests are pre signed and agreed by superior;
- Ensure that the work area is properly maintained and cleaned in accordance to company standards;
- Ensure that all departmental reports and forms are completed accurately and punctually as requested;
- Maintain constant communication with all supervisors and subordinates;
- Assist the Assistant Recreation & Leisure Manager with all operations for the entire recreation department.
- Ensure all equipments/ items are available for operations and raise necessary requisition when stocks are running low;
- Responsible for all staff on duty and ensuring that staff is taking care about guest’s safety
- Maintain constant communication with superiors;
- Adhere to the established programs and duty timetables to ensure that they are carried out as planned;
- Participate in decoration of the installations, stages, etc., when required for special events;
* ADMINISTRATION
- To control all inventories and materials accordance to departmental procedures and report any
Discrepancies to immediate superior raise necessary documentation for replacement;
- Handle Associate request for sickness, days off and leave in accordance to company policy;
- To prepare the staff shift rosters and assign duties accordingly and distribute accordingly;
* EMPLOYEE HANDLING
- To report sickness or misconduct associates to superior;
- To supervise, and if necessary, discipline employees under direct control;
- To conduct training for new and existing employees as directed, and report all activities to the
- To build an efficient team of employees by taking an active interest in their welfare, safety, security, training and development;
- To ensure that all employees have a complete understanding of the hotel’s policies and procedures in order for them to adhere them;
- To ensure all employees report for duty punctual, wearing the correct uniform and name tags;
