Regional Head

We are representing our client, an international European family- owned company with revenues of >1 billion EUR, specialising in industrial measurement and automation, to appoint a new Regional Head, based in Vietnam. The Regional Head will manage 58 employees across 3 offices in Vietnam, the Philippines and Hong Kong while also overseeing business growth in other Asian developing countries, including Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Responsibilities and accountabilities

Develop the regional organisations in terms of structure, projects, strategy.
Leading the organization and further development of the region.
Taking legal responsibility for the region and representation of the organisation in the region.
Take the role in a Matrix organization and align with the functional owners in HQ.
Overall team leadership of the local teams (e.g. succession planning proposal).
Lead the Sales Offices in the region.
Accountable for signatures and authorisations as per the existing regulations & approval processes.

Requirements:

Good experience managing teams and stakeholders in different countries and cultures.
Entrepreneurial approach to business with strong customer orientation.
Bachelor&039;s degree or equivalent qualification in Business Administration/Engineering etc.
Willing and able to travel regionally and internationally.
Any South East Asian language proficiency in social & business contexts is a plus.
Drive strong growth while remaining compliant with existing processes.
Good track record of building and maintaining a regional network in industrial or related industries.
Over 6 years of driving and growing regional sales in the industrial or related sector.
Over 6 years of regional general management experience.
Excellent English communication in social & business contexts.
