Regional Material Coordinator Expert: Logistic & Sourcing

Main Responsibilities:
• Support customs broker in customs clearance for import
• Root cause analysis & implementation of best practise approaches
• Monitoring of materials requirement planning (MRP) results and taking necessary actions for errors
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies over the region
• Prepare documents and support customs broker for export
• Lead and support of regional supply chain projects
• Optimization of inventory and stock evaluation
• Coordination of import & export with customs broker & warehouse supervisors
• Local sourcing of urgent demands
• Coordination of local sourcing over the region, first point of contact for global procurement
Secondary Responsibilities:
• look for and discuss possible improvements on APAC supply chain topics
• Backup Regional Coordinator "Monitoring & Planning" (for annual or sick leave)
• support general materials & logistic topics
• participate in regular trainings and jour fixe meetings

• Degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related field.
• Language:
+ English: B1, Ielts 5.0 or above AND
+ Japanese: N3 or above
• Very good in MS office
• Willing to travel across APAC region
• Analytical with good sense of detail
• SAP knowledge is preferred
• 3+ years of related experience
• Strong proven writing and oral communications skills in English and Japanese
• Experience in purchasing is preferred
• Ability for high independency / self- organized work.
• Knowledge in logistic & supply chain management
