Represents Cottey College and manages the regional recruitment office in Vietnam. Responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of international students from Southeast Asia to Cottey College’s academic degree programs. Advises prospective students and families regarding admission procedures and financial aid processes, and provide an overview of Cottey’s philosophy and history, academic programs and curriculum, campus organizations, resources and services, student activities and residential life to multiple internal and external constituencies. Communicates regularly with prospective students and develops innovative recruitment strategies to meet enrollment goals. Supports marketing strategies, social media, and develops partnerships with high schools, universities, other stakeholders, and, possibly, agents. The position requires alternative work hours outside of a traditional 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. work week with some weekends as well as some limited travel within an assigned recruitment territory.
General Description
Work to increase the number of educational agent agreements in Vietnam and provides support and training to new and existing agent partners.
Create and maintain social media channels targeting Southeast Asian students.
Assist in pursuing innovative articulation agreements such as dual or joint degree programs with local universities.
Assist students in obtaining all required application materials to obtain acceptance to Cottey College including support in obtaining a visa.
Translate promotional materials.
Provide information to prospective international students and their families about Cottey College’s degree programs and requirements via email, phone, web, or face- to- face meetings.
Assist Cottey College staff and faculty during visits to Vietnam.
Visit Cottey College campus annually.
Respond to requests for Cottey College materials, prepares mailings as needed, and assists with maintaining inventory of recruitment supplies.
Assist in building relationships with school counselors, education agents, EducationUSA advisers, and other international partners.
Create a recruitment plan for Southeast Asia in collaboration with Cottey College and supervisors in order to achieve recruitment goals.
Prepare and maintains reports regarding student inquiries, applications, and enrollment.
Research international recruitment trends, competitors, or key markets; generates innovative marketing strategies to increase student applications from Southeast Asia.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
Respond to student inquiries from Southeast Asia daily and provides fast and accurate responses.
Input prospect student information into the CRM communications system, follows up with prospects, and assists prospects with submitting online application and application materials.
Travel domestically and internationally to attend education fairs, meets with partners, and gives presentations at high schools or colleges that support international student recruitment efforts.
Communicate regularly via email, chat apps, and virtually attends regular meeting with Cottey College supervisor and staff.
