Remote Junior Accountant (Australian Accounting System)

We are looking for Junior Accountants to join our team to work with The Lyden Group, which is our client in Australia.

YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Allocating payable and receivable accounts by Australian Accounting Software ( MYOB
AR, Quickbooks, Xero...)
● Prepare and reconcile monthly and quarterly GST and payrolls (lodged those reports
which are called Business Activity Statements [BASs]; Instalment Activity Statements
[IASs]);
● Set up Payroll; Single Touch Payroll; prepared TFN declarations, pay-run fortnightly
for clients and PAYG Payment Summaries at year-end;
● Prepare financial reports, tax returns, and other reports to comply with reporting
bligations of individuals; sole traders; simple trusts; partnerships, entities.

REQUIREMENTS:
Your job function would be more focused on Bookkeeping, others can be trained along the way
● Must be fluent in English communication ( having IELTS 6.5 is a big credit)
● Proficient with MYOB AR, MYOB AO, Xero
● Behaviour: contributing to building a positive team environment, showing initiative, solving
● A Bachelor’s degree (Accounting/Business Studies/Economics/Management)
problems, making decisions, exhibiting self-confidence, being enthusiastic, having a can-do
attitude, and customer focus.
● Self-management: Applying ethics, managing stress, undertaking performance measurement
and improvement, and professional personal performance.
