Assisting in teaching, research activities and administrative affairs.
Daily responsibilities
• Assisting in teaching 120 AH/academic year:
• Formulating plan and contents of tutorials and carrying out tutorials and exercises
• Assisting in administration
• Maintaining and developing database of lecture slides, examinations and exercises
• Assisting in research, preparing research proposals: working on research project(s) assigned by the supervisor, and assisting in and contributing to the overall research of the research group
• Co- supervise Bachelor&039;s theses
Support flying faculty in implementation of the lectures, exercises and practicals
Prepare and manage correspondence, documents and reports for research and publication
Support the program in organizing events such as student recruitment activities, workshops, seminars, STEM events, and lab tours etc.
Ensure that teaching and research equipment is functioning effectively for lectures, exercises, and practical sessions (e.g. computers, software packages, electronic journals, library)
• Working on own research for PhD (in the next 3 to 5 years)
Periodic/ Irregular responsibilities
• Supervising of students in their study projects and final theses
• Taking, typing and distributing minutes of meetings
• Contributing to the development and implementation of other course programs in consultation with the study program coordinator and the partner university, as assigned by the supervisor
• Maintaining the homepage of the study program and the intranet platform
• Assisting the supervisor, program coordinator to organize and coordinate the internal and external events (meetings, conferences, research seminars, mini courses, travel arrangements)
• Presenting of research ideas and results at scientific conferences
• Presenting of research ideas and results in internal VGU seminars
Other duties
• Acting as invigilator for exams of all study programs, if required
• Implementing other duties as assigned by the supervisor
