RESERVATION MANAGER

- Reviews always the selling status and rates of all package plans.
- Control the Room revenue, the average room rate, and enhance the sales strategy.
- Handle the follow up of group reservation especially concerning the rooming list and meal booking.
- Treat the guest with courtesy.
- Handle daily correspondence; respond to inquiries and make reservation as needed.
- Ensure that the statistics data concerning the daily operations of the Reservation department are correctly recorded.
- Make reports and draw up statistics to Director of Sale & Marketing
- Follow the reservation cancellation and amendment procedures of the hotel.
- Apply the selling techniques and assist front desk staff whenever necessary.
- Supervise the handling process of all reservations obtained through travel agency or tour operator and check accordance to contracts.
- Follow the policy of the hotel on guaranteed reservation and no show.
- Work with Sales and Marketing Director/Manager on the Marketing Plan
- Assist in developing training and development plans for staff; assist to implement and evaluate these plans.
- Control Extranet & third- party website throughout the day.
- Prepare daily Management Reports: Daily Pick- up report, Daily Market intelligence update.
- Set up the norms and procedures of department according to the specifications of the hotel, ensure that these norms and procedures are followed through. Constantly review and update these procedures.
- Check that tasks are accomplished accurately by the staff.

• 2+ year experience at same position in Hotels/Resorts 4- 5*
• Bachelor degree in related field
• Able to cope with pressure.
• Good health, mature and pleasant personality and neat apperance.
• Good English language skills
• Strong Administration skills, along with excellent communication and negotiation.
• Detailed knowledge of working practices of Reservation
• Computer literate, knowledgeable of Front Office computer system (Opera).
