Job Purpose
To lead and manage retail operations of the Men & Children category, ensuring sales target achievement, operational excellence, superior customer experience, and strong brand performance in alignment with company strategy and retail standards.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations & Sales Management
Manage and supervise daily retail operations and sales floor activities to ensure smooth operations and achievement of assigned sales targets.
Prepare and submit sales, operational, and performance reports as required.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and operational efficiency; implement corrective actions when required.
Conduct regular sales floor inspections to identify operational issues, service gaps, and compliance risks.
Lead, guide, and motivate staff and promoters to achieve sales and service KPIs.
Customer Service Excellence
Coach frontline staff to deliver excellent customer experience in a premium retail environment.
Act as a role model on the sales floor with a professional, customer- first mindset.
Ensure consistent implementation of customer service standards across the department.
Collect customer feedback and coordinate improvements with relevant departments.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations promptly and professionally.
Brand & Supplier Management
Manage assigned brands and maintain professional relationships with suppliers and partners.
Propose brand in/out plans and manage brand performance lifecycle.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to evaluate trends and performance.
Analyze sales performance by brand and propose improvement plans.
Negotiate commercial terms, promotions, and support programs with suppliers.
Sales & Profit Management
Drive revenue growth while ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
Analyze sales trends and financial data to support decision- making.
Plan, manage, and control sales and gross margin of the category.
Merchandising & Visual Execution
Oversee visual merchandising execution to maintain brand consistency and attractive display.
Monitor pricing accuracy, stock display, cleanliness, and overall sales floor appearance.
Ensure merchandising and product presentation comply with company and brand guidelines.
Support renovation, layout adjustments, and special display projects when assigned.
Promotion Execution & Internal Coordination
Coordinate closely with MD, Marketing, Operations, VM, CS, and other departments.
Support implementation of promotion programs, events, and marketing activities.
Evaluate promotion effectiveness and provide post- program reports.
Compliance & People Development
Maintain integrity, confidentiality, and professional conduct at all times.
Provide on- the- job training and coaching on service standards, selling skills, product knowledge, and grooming.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Company or MD Department Manager.
Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly, half- yearly, and yearly sales reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal regulations, and retail operational standards.
