This position encompasses a broad spectrum of responsibilities, challenging you to apply a comprehensive set of strategic, leadership, and operational skills. Your role will involve overseeing various financial functions, including but not limited to financial planning, budgeting, accounting, and compliance.
We are seeking a Risks and Financial Services Manager to drive financial excellence within our organization. In this role, you will be tasked with improving financial strategies that contribute to the company&039;s growth and uphold financial integrity. Serving as a strategic partner to key internal stakeholders and executives, you will be a contributing member of the Board of Managers, and report directly to our CEO. You will integrate directly with Crossian’s CFO consulting team in the United States. Your leadership of the Risks & Financial Services (RFS) team will be instrumental in implementing innovative financial practices aligned with our core values and business objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Strategic Partnership
- Transform financial data into strategic insights, guiding operational leaders towards increased profitability through meaningful dialogue and proactive financial planning
- Provide a critical review of all financial statements, reports, analysis and projections to ensure a “no- surprise” environment
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies that align with organizational goals
Operational Management
- Finance Operations
+ Lead or support any ad- hoc projects and financial analyses as needed, particularly in projects involving variance analysis/reporting and key metric reporting
+ Direct and review the data collection and preparation of budgets, financial reports, and other documents, business plans and reports, as required by regulatory and/or government agencies
+ Direct the development, implementation and revision of finance & accounting policies, procedures and systems to ensure that all financial and accounting practices are complementary to, and in compliance with, all applicable corporate and regulatory policies and procedures
+ Direct the timely and accurate preparation of periodic financial statements, regulatory reports, analysis, forecast and operating plans
+ Respond to underwriting and KYC requests from internal financial systems partners including: PayPal, Stripe, Braintree, Payoneer and Wise
- Business Data and Risks Management
+ Lead and grow current business data team and service offerings
+ Analyze operational risks and provide actionable insights to our supply chain, product development and customer service teams
+ Build new and improve current data models to support business operations
- Accounting
+ Oversee, plan and coordinate, as applicable, internal and external audits, including the preparation of audit schedules and account reconciliations. Investigate, and resolve unusual transactions, activities, questions and issues as they arise
+ Direct the timely and accurate preparation of periodic financial statements, regulatory reports, analysis, forecast and operating plans in accordance with local/regional/global reporting standards
- Work directly with outside consultants, agencies, bankers, regulators on an assortment of financial and accounting issues
Team Leadership
- Acquire talents, and provide training and maximize efficient and effective uses of finance & accounting resources
- Manage staff PDPs to achieve both personal, professional and corporate goals
