Rooms Division Manager

Works proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries and problem resolution
Establishes and delivers effective programs that advance service standards, profitability and cost control
Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow- up as required
Prepares and is responsible for the departmental budget, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained
Develops and implements plans where rooms division initiatives & hotel targets are achieved
Ensures the smooth running of the rooms division department, where all aspects of the guest experience are delivered to the highest levels
Leads and manages the rooms division team, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the department

Has a friendly disposition and excellent customer service skills
Excellent computer skills and ability to utilize reservation and customer management programs
Excellent communication skills in English.
Shares a passion for the hospitality industry
2- 5 years of demonstrated experience working within a hotel in a guest service- orientated position
Sound financial literacy to be able to work to and contribute to budget preparation
Demonstrated leadership experience to manage the team
Enjoys working as part of a team and able to communicate clearly
