Ruby On Rails Developer

Collaborating with the web developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience
Understand the product thoroughly, constantly optimize the product, identify and fix problems, improve stability and user experience
Integrate various frameworks and automation tools to support business and marketing teams
Design and implement reusable, testable, and efficient back- end features using Restful APIs, and Microservices in Ruby on Rails that can handle a crazy amount of traffic
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security
Analyze requirements, design and develop functionalities based on the product requirements
Conduct code refactoring, optimization, building reusable components for future use

Experience with complicated system architecture which includes API linkage with external systems
From 2+ years experience with Ruby on Rails
Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker
Solid experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL including performance tuning and optimization
Experience with application performance monitoring and optimization
Good understanding of SOLID principles, common design patterns and best practices
English: good at reading and writing, Able to verbally communicate is a plus
