Safety Officer

Job Locations: Hai Duong
Job Description:
- Conduct hygiene, health and safety inspection and support assigned projects
- Assess and monitor hazardous, unsafe situations and potential risks, to correct unsafe act and address the risks
- Support to roll out in-house safety practices, projects, policies and procedures based on standards and regulations of Vietnamese government and customer compliance standards and requirements
Supervise and manage the work safety and environmental sanitation of contractors
- Establish and develop statistical criterial/model for qualitative and quantitative analysis of safety data in conjunction with the industry standards
- Work with various department to promote safety first culture
- Organize and Coordinate in-house safety committee meeting, activities, work plan and projects
- Organize and conduct safety training
- Perform ad hoc projects and assignments directed by management
- Control and investigate the cause of the occupational accident, conduct risk assessments, make recommendations on corrective and preventive actions and to monitor the execution and effectiveness

- Positive open mind, self-motivated, work independent, team player
- Graduated in College or above in Procurement, Materials Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or related disciplines;
- Excellent analytical, communication & negotiation skills;
- 3-5 years relevant experience in sourcing and development of material supplier / sub-contractor, and project management in manufacturing companies in Vietnam;
- Honest and strictly complying with professional ethics;
- Solid experience in Material Sourcing of Printing / Paper Products / Toys & Gifts Industry would be an advantage;
- Basic command of English and Mandarin
