* PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF ROLE
This position demands experience in the strategic and operational execution of the annual sales plan including managing and supervising the assigned market team member / sales units per market. The person understands all aspects of business development when working with local and regional reseller as well as their target markets oversea. The person is experienced in sales planning and has very strong planning and organizational skills, understand budgets and targets, and knows how to manage team members. A very good understanding of local DMC /regional market including the international (target) market is needed to successfully operate in this role.
Evaluate and develop the corporate market segment as new source of revenue for the company in the regional market (SEA).
* Sales and Business Development
•Conduct personal sales meetings, off-line meetings (phone & webinar) to provide detailed product knowledge and explore areas of BD with the drive to create leads
•Develop sales and marketing activities on a forward planning to achieve financial targets for assigned markets/segments/accounts
•Monitor periodically account performance and be accountable for their development.
•Gather market intelligence and analyze competitor in marketing mix (4P) to stay competitive and innovative
•Cooperate closely with market REPs and marketing team for BD in the sales chain DMC reseller – oversea TO/TA
•Develop the corporate segment including a plan for dedicated sales and marketing activities including to generate new business.
* Team Management
•Build up, train and manage market team members in all aspects
•Support the team with decision making and daily tasks to improve the sales department
•Forward plan, manage and supervise sales activities and follow-ups by team members to ensure sales activity targets are achieved on a weekly, monthly and annual basis with personal accountability.
•Ensure a timely and quality reporting for assigned markets / Segments
* Marketing
•Raise marketing opportunities and liaise with marketing team for execution. Track execution and results down the line.
•Ensure product exposure is top quality in the assigned market segment and seek support of marketing team when necessary
* Reservation
•Liaise with resa team to have a control on forward revenue and occupancy on assigned accounts and be on top of materialization of allocation in the market
* Others
•Other tasks related to the scope of work and suitable with this position may be assigned ad hoc or permanently.
* Project Management
•Support with improving corporate structure, processes and SOPs when assigned
•Support with assigned sales and over-departmental project related to the companies forward BD
* People Management
•Be on top of HL sales team and their strategic and daily duty based on the targets set by supervisor
•Conduct periodic meetings
•Motivate and inspire the direct reports to achieve company goals, team and individual targets
•Monitor performance of direct reports and team and improve continuously
•Conduct bi-annual performance reviews of the team
* Reporting
•Support in the consolidation of monthly sales reports submitted by team members
* Continuous Improvement
•Identify areas for continual improvement within the sales department
•Attend training courses / seminars / trade shows
•Develop, implement and update procedures within the department

Yêu cầu công việc


QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE
•Tertiary studies in Tourism, Hospitality or Business (post-graduate level preferred)
•Knowledge of business, tourism, geography, foreign cultures
•Abroad experience/study is advantage
•Knowledge of the tourism market
EXPERIENCE
•Min 5 years of sales and BD experience in hotel, cruise or hospitality in a similar sales and business development role
•Proven expertise and knowledge of the regional (DMC) market and of regional SEA selling markets
•Top organized and experience in strategic business planning
•Knows who to develop and can think comprehensive topics.
SKILLS
•Excellent – Written and spoken English and Vietnamese
•Excellent – Communication and interpersonal skills
•Very Good - MS Office Word and Excel
•Medium – CRM/Reservation software knowledge
•Basic – Accounting / finance
•Basic - third language
* SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
•Flexibility to work overtime
•Pro-active, take ownership
•Ability to work under pressure
•domestic and international travel
