As a Sales Executive – Japanese Market at Varmeta, you will play a pivotal and strategic role in shaping our growth in Japan. You’ll lead the effort to identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities — from inbound leads and partner research to your own networks — helping Varmeta enter and expand in one of our most exciting target markets.
This is a rare opportunity to become the first Japanese- speaking Sales hire at Varmeta, with full ownership of the Japan market strategy, and the space to grow into a leadership role. You’ll work closely with the founding team, and your ideas will directly influence how we operate and scale in Japan.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide regular sales reports and support other tasks as assigned by the management team
Own and manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, company introduction, proposal creation, quotation, negotiation, contract signing, and post- sales support.
Work closely with technical and delivery teams to monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure service quality and client satisfaction.
Identify, approach, and build strong relationships with Japanese clients and businesses looking for software development or technology outsourcing solutions.
Contribute to overall sales strategy, help define team KPIs, and support initiatives to grow the Japanese market.
Communicate with Japanese clients professionally across email, online meetings, and calls, using fluent business- level Japanese.
Keep up with market trends, client insights, and competitor information; proactively suggest retention and account development strategies.
Prepare, maintain, and continuously update sales materials such as company profiles, brochures, proposals, and pricing documents.
