Hotel Business and Sales strategies and target
Responsible for individual and team’s weekly, monthly and yearly sales target and budget
Clear understanding of the hotels business strategies then set goals and to determine action plans to meet those goals.
Implements all sales action plans related to market areas to achieve Sales target including but not limiting to daily sales call, site inspection trips
Solve customers’ grievances and questions related to Sales process or services
Responsible for accounts distributed in different segments such as TA, OTA, Corporate Sales for the hotel.
Work closely with Hotel Manager/ General Manager/ General Director/ Managing Director to ensure proposed rate negotiations meet the financial needs of the hotels.
Market Research and Business Development
Identify new markets and business opportunities and increase sales.
Implement action plan to achieve target of new account acquisition, room night and revenue
Do market research, keep you updated with market trend and best practice.
Pre- qualify and target key accounts within assigned territory or area and develop appropriate and effective sales solicitation strategies to increase hotel’s market share
Work closely with Marketing team to develop, plan and execute promotional activities
Develop and maintain pro- active relationship with potential and current accounts through regular sales calls and/or in- house entertainment or appreciation events.
Sales Operations
Submit weekly sales activities and monthly sales report
Ensure all enquiries are replied within 24 hours
Attend all department and hotel meetings as necessary.
Able to provide quick and timely responses, immediate communication to the properties, develop professional long term business relationships.
Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times.
Ensure all Sales contracts follow the established Hotel’s standards and are based on sound commercial judgement
Ensure all credit and collection procedures are established and followed strictly
