Purpose of the Job- Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for identifying and sourcing leisure and wholesale business that supports the collection&039;s strategic plan to maximize room revenue at Centara Mirage Resort Mui Ne properties.
The role reports directly to the Director of Sales (DOS) and works closely with the revenue team to ensure that the sales strategies align with the property&039;s business needs.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Work closely with DOS and Revenue team to continually evaluate sales leads / inquiries and develop optimum rate and occupancy period proposals that benefit both the customer and the properties.
Aggressively solicit and follow up on leads generated
Develop and conduct persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients
Understand the overall market- competitors&039; strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and strategically sell against our competition.
Take initiative to go beyond the ordinary to differentiate us from the competition and create loyalty.
Maintain timely and accurate recording of activity to include appointments, calls made and business leads
Identify and create new contacts and develop sales leads through phone solicitation/prospecting, sales calls, trade shows, etc.
Respond to sales inquiries and contact potential clients to build and nurture lasting business relationships.
Organize and coordinate key familiarization tours and site visits to continually create awareness and new business for the properties.
Maintain relationships with key accounts/ partners to increase customer satisfaction and business
Broaden productive client base and increase awareness of hotel
Participate in key professional organizations to generate business leads and increase destination and property visibility
Maintain an excellent sales solicitation process including an efficient trace system and ongoing communication with all clients and property leaders.
Understand fully the hotel amenities, venues and options and provide recommendations to create authentic and distinctively different experiences for our guests.
Create, develop and maintain Sales Tactical Plan that support overall goals.
Create, execute and support the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).
