Job Summary:
Key responsibilities include identifying training needs through data and feedback, designing and updating structured training programs, managing and developing line trainers, delivering engaging and impactful training sessions, and measuring results to continuously improve effectiveness.
The Sales Training Manager is responsible for building and implementing effective training strategies that strengthen the skills, product knowledge, and performance of SVFC’s nationwide sales force. The role ensures that training initiatives are strategically aligned with business goals, responsive to evolving market needs, and effective in improving sales performance and quality standards.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Training Strategy & Planning
• Develop annual training plans and manage training budgets effectively.
• Maintain a robust line trainer program to meet increasing business growth demands.
• Analyze skill gaps, product knowledge deficiencies, and performance issues using feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Sales, HR, and other divisions to ensure training priorities align with evolving business goals and workforce development needs.
Program Development & Content Management
• Create and regularly update structured training materials, from comprehensive onboarding content for new hires to specialized modules tailored for different sales channels.
• Continuously review, revise, and upgrade training programs to ensure relevance, compliance, and alignment with company standards.
• Design high- quality training content that enhances sales skills, leadership capabilities, and product knowledge.
Training Delivery
• Deliver training through diverse methods, including interactive classroom sessions, workshops, coaching, and e- learning platforms, depending on content and audience needs.
• Ensure training logistics, facilities, and materials meet professional standards.
• Observe line trainers in the field, providing constructive coaching and feedback to improve their training delivery skills.
Reporting & Other Duties
• Prepare reports on training effectiveness, line trainer performance, and key training outcomes.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Head of Sales Planning Department.
