The Salesforce Administrator will work closely with the users, the IT Application Team Lead to maintain, implement application related projects, enhancements, and applications support. This includes every aspect of the IT applications, administration, configuration, security, data quality and resolve issues or bugs. The position shall provide support for the company’s users. The position offers great opportunity for learning and contribution to the applications, project or change management, vendor management, application compliance, perform application risks assessment and mitigation. The position reports to the Application Team lead and matrix reporting to the Sales team.
Responsibilities:
Salesforce administrator support, lighting version.
Adopt good practices and be methodological in gathering requirements, testing to delivery.
Perform new user setup and training for the Salesforce application.
Manage tickets with service providers to provide prompt support to the users to resolve issues.
Work with team members and service providers for enhancement where applicable.
Maintain and administer the application to ensure proper controls are in place.
Stay current with the periodic application releases, advise IT and business on identifying and leveraging applicable enhancements and features.
Ensure security and data access limits are maintained, documented and well- designed.
Design, develop and maintain a variety of business reports and dashboards.
Engage with business and IT stakeholders to gather/analyze requirements and map them to solutions that leverage functionalities available in the applications
Prepare and maintain related documentation (requirements, training materials, processes, and data flows, use cases, functional design), participate in cross- functional teams discussions to confirm the requirements.
Collaborate with users, functional and technical team to design and implement solutions.
Develop implementation plans and schedules for projects or enhancement.
Configure rules, automation and workflows, triggers, bug fix. Apex coding knowledge is advantageous[WL1].
Maintain standardization across the countries and identify ways to continuously improve processes and procedures.
Create, maintain, and document the settings, configuration, including validation rules, approval processes, workflow rules, page layouts, data fields, sharing rules, visual flow, list views, email templates, and rules.
Manage enhancement and support requests, follow up and resolve issues and the administrative needs of users, this includes creating new users, assigning profiles, roles, permissions.
