Job Description:
Monitor system performance and identify issues.
Create customizations for use with Salesforce.
Troubleshoot any technical difficulties and resolve any issues.
Follow established guidelines and procedures
Contribute to document Salesforce platform (user guides, specifications, …).
Maintain and administer Salesforce instance, including user access to data, security settings, and application configuration.
Consulting Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) technology expertise for solution design and technical implementation
Provide support to users who need help using the platform respond promptly to requests for assistance and offer advice where appropriate.
We are looking for a qualified Salesforce Developer to join our Customer Service team, whose mission is to contribute to maintaining and administering our Salesforce platform.
Manage the installation and maintenance of applications within Salesforce.
Day to Day
Writing and reviewing code from the sprint backlog in line with backend guild best practices
Anticipates and communicates blockers or delays for their work (or their squads) before they require escalation.
Assisting in driving squad sprint execution to ensure timelines are met without compromising on quality.
Technical Duties
Provides technical advice and weighs in on technical discussions/decisions that impact their team.
Mentors more junior teammates in an open, respectful, flexible, and empathetic manner.
Helps their fellow team members overcome obstacles, resolve blockers, and complete work tasks.
Communicate within your team effectively, clearly, and concisely in both written and verbal form on technical and non- technical subjects.
Consistently writes production- ready code that is easily testable, easily understood by other engineers, and accounts for edge cases and errors.
Ensures their commitments are realistic, understands their priority and urgency, and delivers upon them accordingly.
Communication & Leadership Duties
Requirements:
B2C Salesforce Commerce Developer certification is a plus.
Time management skills, ability to identify and prioritize urgent/ critical requests.
Patience when handling tough cases.
Preferred candidates will have a team player mentality, are quick on their feet, agile, and aren&039;t afraid to speak up and voice their opinions.
At least 3+ years of commercial experience in NodeJS/TypeScript or an appetite to learn
At least 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud Developer
Strong analytical skills to investigate and correctly identify the root cause.
Knowledge of digital commerce components such as Users, Catalog, Pricing, Inventory, Campaign/Promotion and Payment
Ability to work effectively with non- technical personnel
Knowledge of digital commerce integration such as CMS, DAM, PIM, OMS, and ERP
Has a customer- oriented mindset.
