Scrum Master

The Scrum Master is a coach and leads squads to deliver outcomes through the Agile way of working. This role instils the agreed- to Agile process, helps remove impediments to progress, and fosters an environment of high performance, continuous flow, and relentless improvement
Responsibilities:

Lead and facilitate Scrum events using Agile practices, tools and processes and create consistency of delivery practices across the teams
Maintain sprint flow by minimizing external disturbances, manage risks or impediments and remove blockers and hurdles
Be the driving force and guide teams to be self- organized, promote a collaborative team environment that foster creativity, innovation, continuous improvement and celebrate successes
Gather, analyze, and present data to business stakeholders in a way that demonstrates how the team is improving and growing
Manage and build strong, trusted relationships with Engineers and Product Owners to track status of implementation and improve requirements and vision
Collaborate with Product Owners to maximize productivity and to ensure effective backlog management
Responsible for coaching, supporting and mentoring scrum framework practices and Agile principles to the teams, Product owner and the organization
Leaders at all levels will be expected to ensure their teams are clear, capable and motivated:
Capable with the right talent, time, tools and skills to do their work, with leaders expected to manage resources (people, budgets, assets) and coach teams to build competence and confidence
Clear about purpose, values, goals and plans, expectations and processes, and the boundaries of ethical decision making
Motivated by leaders who build trust, inclusive teams and a psychologically safe environment, track results, and provide clear follow- up and feedback

8+ years experience across agile ways of working and delivery, with in- depth knowledge of agile techniques: creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria and managing squad artefacts
Experience with multiple teams simultaneously and/or with teams in a complex environment
Ability to measure performance and create an environment of continuous learning
Experience in leading and coaching teams (8- 12 people)
Extensive experience in a previous scrum master role
Ability to navigate a large complex organization and build relationships with stakeholders using formal and informal networks
Experience with workflow tools (e. g., Rally, Jira)
