Security Analyst

Gear Inc. is an operated Game Development Studio with offices expanding globally. We are looking for a Security Analyst with an emphasis on operations, monitoring, and analysis of threats to the company&039;s internal systems. The team uses cutting- edge technologies to build high- performing, scalable cloud- based solutions in a safe, secure, and agile fashion.

Yêu cầu công việc

Analyze, assess, and report security detections from SIEM and other security tools in a timely manner;
Improved cybersecurity technologies and processes by contributing to tunes and playbook development;
Continuous development, operation and improvement of security monitoring and incident response processes, toolings, and solutions as required;
Work with other teams to mitigate and recover from security incidents;
Tune detection content and playbooks;
Investigate to determine the root cause and document security incidents;
Patch to keep operating systems and software up to date at all times;
Support other daily IT and security initiatives.
Assess, triage, and prioritize security alerts from logging and monitoring systems;
Continuously refine IT operation processes and procedures to ensure top- tier and secure service delivery;
Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management;
Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high- security standard;

Having relevant professional certifications is a plus.
Have experience or knowledge about Mac devices;
Possess good knowledge of Linux and Bash shell;
Minimum of 2 years of experience in SOC Analyst, or a related field.
Basic programming proficiency, sufficient to write and execute scripts from the command line.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non- technical people.
Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing/switching.
Knowledge of security frameworks and standards;
Hands- on experience with security technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and antivirus.
Bachelor&039;s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
Excellent analytical, problem- solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Programming experience such as Java, .Net, or Python;
Scripting and automation abilities;
