Security Analyst

Analyzing security breaches to identify the root cause and counter the attack;
Provide improvements to incident and event correlation fidelity related to incident monitoring, alerting, perform incident response efforts and management processes;
Performing both internal and external security audits;
Generating reports for IT administrators and business managers to evaluate the efficacy of the security policies in place;
Partner with internal product and technology teams during projects and initiatives, providing guidance promoting alignment to internal policies, standards, and security best practice.
Experience conducting comprehensive risk assessments of information systems, applications,company&039;s digital assetsand processes to identify potential vulnerabilities, threats, and impacts;
Keeping the company&039;s security systems up to date and creating documentation and planning for all security- related information, including incident response and disaster recovery plans;

Must have:

Hands- on experience with a variety of cyber security tools (i.e., SIEM, vuln. scanning, pen testing);
Minimum of 3 years of experience in SOC Analyst, or a related field;
Hands- on experience with security technologiessuch as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and antivirus;
Excellentanticipation, analytical, problem- solving, and troubleshooting skills;
Knowledge of Linux, Windows;
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
Familiarity with security tools such as web filtering/proxy, antivirus software, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and central log management systems;

Nice to have:

Relevant security or technical certifications (CIS,CGMP, HIPAA, NIST, FIP,AWS/GCP Professional).
Understanding of networking protocols, networking concepts and the functions of network and security tools, hardware, and software;
