SUMMARY
To conduct training referring to the safety policies for all the associate and organize fire drill according to schedule, to provide direction and guidance on the performance of the associate in Security department in order for them to complete their jobs perfectly.
Responsible for all the safety work in the property, and is to formulate the security management policies in the property.
Maintain the Security & Safety in the Apartment premises to the guest and the associates.
Chief Security is also to assist the local Public Security Bureau to carry out the safety prevention tasks.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a Hotel logbook on incidents, complaint etc. and refer them, if required to the appropriate department for follow up action.
Monitor internal control systems to ensure that appropriate information access levels and security clearances are maintained.
Handle and resolve all guest queries and complaints in an efficient manner and to establish an amicable relationship with all guest of the Hotel.
Will comply with any other directive/ assignments from Senior Management which may from time to time be requested.
Provide escort services for associates carrying cash, when required.
To assist all departments in the property to add all the requirements referring to safety into the departmental policy and procedures.
To conduct training lessons on safe operation for all the associates in the property, and to brief them what kinds of prevention measurements to be taken in case of any emergency, violence cases, fire or other kinds of damaging accidents.
Prepare weekly staffing schedules, monitoring staff attendance and assist in planning work.
To keep a good relationship with national and local public- security bureau and fire bureau for their cooperation and support when necessary.
Brief the Security Supervisor, Senior Security Officer and Security Guard on duty, if there is any V.I.P. movement in the apartment premises.
Prepare the annual capital and operating budgets for the Department, and ensure departmental expenditure is kept within budget by the P&L on the monthly basis.
To be responsible for the fire prevention of the property, and to organize and guide the property fire brigade to prevent any occurrence of fire.
Conduct regular operational meetings to review, monitor, adjust and upgrade the performance of the Department as a whole, explaining new directions and policies and procedures at the same time.
To ensure property rules and regulations are adhered to and will maintain discipline within the property following disciplinary guidelines as described in the Associate Handbook.
To formulate and carry out safety measurements and to supervise the implementation of all departments in the property.
To be responsible for carrying out investigation on all the public- security cases and criminal cases happened in the property. And to try the best to retrieve the loss and to ensure the safety of the property guests and associates.
Surprise check of the lockers to be carried in co- coordination with HR and inform the General Manger.
To make reports to the General Manager on all the cases happened in the property and the prevention measurements taken for them, which should be recorded and filed.
