• Responsible for the efficient operation of the Academy’s and hotel property and all its equipment, ancillary maintenance and repair services and protection of the Owner’s asset.
• Be aware of the Security policies and procedures of the Hotel, and ensure that at all times in all areas of the Hotel that they are being strictly adhered to.
• Conform to and enforce policies, procedures, rules, and regulations and the Hotel in order to achieve the highest levels of uniformity and guest service.
• Trouble shooting operation, repair, built- up, maintenance of mechanical, electrical service and general building.
• Be aware of the Fire and Emergency procedures, and the Security guards (security firms, hotel security guards) responsibility in an emergency.
• Through close supervision recommend improvements and changes to the operation of the Security, especially concerning creating better service standards, increasing revenue and reducing costs.
• Prepare various monthly reports as required by Management of the Hotel.
• Maintain a Hotel logbook incident, complaints etc. and refer them, if required to the appropriate department for follow up action.
• Structural aspects of the Academy and hotel as well as the maintenance of grounds and external facilities all fall within the span of responsibility.
• To co- ordinate the Security of the hotel as a whole, taking into consideration liaison with the outside security firms.
• To handle and resolve all guest queries and complaints in an efficient manner and to establish an amicable relationship with all clients, customers and guests of the Hotel.
• To cooperate with police (Fire Department, Immigration, Police Station, Police and Military…).
• To direct, control and co- ordinate overall activities of the outside security firms.
• Conduct regular operational meetings to review, monitor, adjust and upgrade the performance of the Security as a whole, explaining new directions and policies and procedures at the same time.
