The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and company assets by enforcing security policies, monitoring property access, and responding to incidents. This role requires vigilance, strong observational skills, and professionalism in handling security- related matters, including emergency situations and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine security checks and report any suspicious activities or safety hazards to the Security Supervisor.
Monitor guest and employee activities to prevent unauthorized access, theft, and other security breaches.
Assist in the investigation of security incidents, including reviewing surveillance footage and preparing incident reports.
Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders when required.
Patrol assigned areas, including entrances, exits, gaming areas, and restricted zones, to ensure a secure environment.
Assist guests and employees by providing directions, escort services, or resolving disputes professionally.
Operate and monitor security systems, including access control, alarms, and emergency response protocols.
Respond to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations, providing appropriate action and support.
Support emergency evacuation procedures and provide first response assistance in case of medical or security incidents.
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding security operations and investigations.
Enforce company security policies and local regulations, ensuring compliance with gaming laws and safety protocols.

Job Requirements

Communication Skills: Ability to interact professionally with guests, employees, and law enforcement.
Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in security, law enforcement, or safety management is a plus.
Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of security laws, safety procedures, and gaming compliance regulations.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field; experience in the gaming or hospitality industry preferred.
Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with security equipment, access control systems, and basic first aid.
Integrity & Confidentiality: High ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
Observation Skills: Strong ability to detect suspicious behavior and security threats.
