Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail- oriented and results- driven Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the day- to- day accounting operations, financial reporting, and key internal controls. The ideal candidate will have strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, excellent financial analysis skills, and the ability to work cross- functionally in a fast- paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Other ad- hoc reports/tasks as requested by Finance Controller/CFO/CEO
Participate in internal controls and process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
Maintain accurate general ledger accounting, including month- end close processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and data integrity
Assist with cash flow actual and forecasting report, bank reconciliations, and monitor cash positions and liquidity needs
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP; assist with the year- end audit process
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows; ensure timely processing and accurate vendor/customer records
In charge of issuing sales invoices, recording revenue and COGS daily
Collaborate with cross- functional teams (Sales, Marketing, CS, Operations, Data and IT) to gather information, resolve issues, and provide financial insights.
Support revenue recognition and related analyses, including compliance with applicable accounting standards (ASC 606 or relevant standards)
Prepare variance analyses, ratio analysis, and management reports for senior leadership
Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
In charge of preparing bank reconciliations daily
Requirements
Fluency in English is required
Vietnam Chief Accountant certification is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Excellent analytical and problem- solving abilities; detail- oriented with high accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast- paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience; experience in a SaaS/e- commerce, marketplace, or tech- enabled company is a plus
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls; experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition is preferred
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., Quickbooks, Fast) and advanced Excel skills; experience with BI/reporting tools is a plus
Effective communication skills (both written and verbal); capable of presenting complex financial information to non- financial stakeholders.
Strong organizational and time- management skills; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast- paced environment.
