Senior Android App Engineer

As a Senior Android Application Engineer, the candidate will be involved in full lifecycle of Software Development on Automotive systems

- Analyze customer requirement, design and develop a wide range of smart services, information, entertainment, intelligence and connectivity features on Automotive MHU ECU
- Job scope includes software analysis, software design, code implementation, software integration, module verification and validation
- Responsible for the development of SW components and/or SW (Sub- ) systems according to the defined SW development life cycle process.
- Develop and execute unit and functional tests for Android Applications on MHU/Infotainment ECU;
- Research new technology, new method to enhance performance of embedded system;
- Have chances to work on- site in Europe and/or US, Asia;
- Work with world leading semiconductor suppliers and the largest solution providers in EV (electric vehicle) sector.

Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages: Java (Android) or Kotlin- Master the basic knowledge of Android: Activity, service, broadcast receiver as well as have advanced skills to handle problems related to Memory, performance,
multithreading
- Master knowledge of object- oriented programming, have knowledge of application design: design pattern, Solid, clean architect, MVVM...- Master knowledge of Android service Framework Layer (AIDL, IPC, Binder, Serializable, Parcelable)
Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in using gerrit code review, CI/CD tools (Jenkin, Quickbuild...)- Experience in developing car infotainment systems (IVI) is an advantage- Having Experience in Android Framework is an advantage- Experience with Android Automotive, AOSP is an advantage- Knowledge with AOSP building system, Android Security, Android HAL, SE Linux

Salary: Negotiable (based on experience)
